This course focuses on the Governance component of the Strategize foundation within the Enterprise Operating Model (EOM). You’ll explore how to build governance into every phase of automation, from strategy to deployment.

Objectives:

Define AI governance and explain its purpose in enterprise automation

Recognize the risks of unmanaged AI, including bias, opacity, and compliance failures

Identify the core components of effective AI governance: ethics, compliance, risk management, transparency, and accountability

Identify governance structures, including roles and responsibilities of ethics committees, data boards, and risk teams

Differentiate between standards and guidelines, and apply best practices for documentation and audit readiness

Embed governance across the automation lifecycle, from design to review, using proactive strategies

Apply governance frameworks in real-world scenarios to improve trust, transparency, and performance

Evaluate an organization’s governance maturity and identify actionable next steps
