This course covers how to design AI Agents in SS&C Blue Prism WorkHQ using a goal‑driven approach. Learners configure conversational agents with goals, instructions, and tools, use Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable dynamic tool interaction, and explore how workflows and connectors can be exposed as reusable agent capabilities.

Objectives:

Describe what an AI agent is and differentiate it from traditional, deterministic workflows

Define a clear goal and create guiding instructions that influence agent behavior

Configure and use a Chat UI trigger to enable conversational interaction with an agent

Explain how tools are used to extend the capabilities of an agent

Explain the role of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in enabling agents to interact with tools

Analyze how an agent interprets input, selects appropriate tools, and generates responses

Identify and demonstrate how workflows can be exposed as tools and reused by an agent
