This course contains a collection of modules that will introduce you to more advanced features and techniques within the Blue Prism product.

After completing this learning you will gain a deeper understanding of the more advanced features available within Blue Prism.

Objective

• Explain the different Run Modes in Blue Prism and when each should be used

• Understand the difference between Environmental Variable and Session Variable, and explain when each should be used

• Explain what Visual Basic Objects are available in Blue Prism and use a VBO in your automation

• Understand Stage Logging in Blue Prism and adopt logging Best Practices

• Use Blue Prism Release Manager to create, export, and import releases in Blue Prism

• Explain what Send Keys and Send Key Events are and how a Navigate Stage can be used to input text to screen elements when using Surface Automation

• Automate a process using Blue Prism and OLEDB

Prerequisites

Completion of Foundation Training and Consolidation exercise
Completion of Blue Prism Developer Learning Plan, including the Advanced Consolidation Exercise
Access to Blue Prism training environment with a valid Blue Prism license or access to Blue Prism development environment
Basic awareness on OLEDB and installed the required DLL file
Installation of the following utility Business Objects into your training environment:
o Data – OLEDB
o Utility – File Management
