Description

This course is aimed at the Centre of Excellence team and other experienced Blue Prism Enterprise users who want to learn how to create and manage automations in Blue Prism Desktop.

The Centre of Excellence / Automation Team continue to develop automations centrally; the approach to building processes and objects remains fundamentally the same as building a Blue Prism Enterprise process or object.  We use the same methodologies, technologies, and assets to deliver Blue Prism Desktop automations

This course covers what’s new in Blue Prism Desktop and what’s changed when compared with Blue Prism Enterprise.

Objective

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

• Understand the process design considerations when designing and building automations for Blue Prism Desktop
• Explain the purpose of the new Input Stage
• Explain the purpose of the new Windows Credentials internal Business Object
• Add an Input stage to a process
• Use the Windows Credential internal business object in a process
• Explain how the functionality of Blue Prism Desktop differs from Blue Prism Enterprise
• Explain the purpose and user implications of Input blocking
